Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is looking for an experienced and skilled Allied Health Professional to lead the Child Development service in Whakatane. The team is a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Assistants. This role is to provide clinical and operational leadership and advocacy for the Child Development Service Team.
The Child Development Service is co-located with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health service (Voyagers) in the Te Kaumoana o Ruamano building in Whakatane township. As the Team Lead, you will be working closely with the professional leads and clinical leads who work across both Tauranga and Whakatane sites to develop a service that promotes excellence for the Tamariki and whanau of the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
