Team Lead - Wellington - Beyond RecruitmentTeam Lead – People & CapabilityFixed-term role with a 12-month tenure, commencing in January 2025Public sector agency with a supportive work environmentWellington-based opportunity with flexible working arrangementsCompetitive salary of approximately $150,000 per annumWe seek an experienced HR Generalist to lead a small team in a dynamic Team Leadership role.The ideal candidate will oversee a team comprising a Senior Advisor, two Advisors, and two Coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
Key responsibilities include:Partnering with stakeholders on general personnel and capability advice, including escalation pointsMaintaining relationships with various networks, particularly the Remuneration network and ER leadsCoordinating annual remuneration reviews, managing Korn Ferry partnerships, and overseeing the overall delivery processDeveloping bargaining strategies and participating in bargaining processesNegotiating with the Public Service Association (PSA), attending PSA meetings, and maintaining a strong union relationshipOversight of the performance review processLeading human capital reporting, encompassing quarterly, annual, and strategic reports for Ministers, Board members, and other key stakeholdersManaging recruitment activities, including contract administration and day-to-day recruitment tasks delegated to AdvisorsMaintaining payroll relationships, collaborating with the payroll provider on fortnightly pay runsReviewing and updating P&C policies, with one policy currently under reviewTo express interest in this role, please submit your CV for consideration.
