We have a vacancy for an experienced Team Leader for the role of Team Lead Regional Operations. The role will lead regional operations ensuring operational workplans and strategic priorities of Nga Whenua Rahui that support integration of environmental and cultural outcomes at place.

Minimum requirements for the role:
Excellent people management skills and a strong drive for results through collaboration.
Knowledge and experience of conservation management, including natural and cultural heritage, and landowner aspirations.
High standard of written and oral communication.
Highly skilled at inspiring others to act.
Knowledge of whanau, hapu and iwi dynamics.
A high level of knowledge and experience in pest control methods for predator, ungulate and plant pests.
Flexibility and willingness to travel.
Strong focus on health, safety and wellbeing.
Full New Zealand driver licence.
Ideally you will have:
A high level of confidence in Tikanga Maori.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Knowledge of the Nga Whenua Rahui Fund and its relevance to Maori landowners.
Technologically savvy.
Flexibility and willingness to spend periods of time away from home.

The salary range for this position is $92,450 - $116,985 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory; this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
