Team Lead - Learner Success (Parental Leave Cover)You will guide, coach and mentor a team of highly skilled Learner Success professionals to ensure they are supported within their current roles. With an uncompromising focus on equitable outcomes for our diverse range of learners, your passion for the team and their students' success will be your driving force.We are looking for a Team Lead Learner Success with a background in tertiary education who understands the current needs and support required of today's learners. In this role, you will not only support the upskilling of our team but also provide individual support to our high-risk learners across a variety of our Yoobee qualifications.Key Responsibilities:Train and mentor Learner Success Co-Ordinators by upskilling and providing support to help manage learner success in all campuses, including identifying what intervention strategies are needed and when, to achieve equitable learner outcomes.Conduct analysis and evaluation of educational outcome data to identify gaps and recommend actions that will positively impact student performance.Conduct research and gather resources to support the Head of Learner Success with new initiatives or projects as needed.Monitor the academic performance of targeted learners across the campus and intervene promptly when necessary.Report areas of concern to the Head of Learner Success and assist in implementing strategies to mitigate risks.Contribute to continuous improvement framework and best practices to ensure systems are student-centric and improve learner outcomes across the whole organisation.Develop strong relationships with External Support Agencies.Improve educational performance for all priority learners by identifying learner needs and embedding support systems to enable equitable outcomes for these priority groups.Embed targeted support to enable learners to achieve equitable educational outcomes with specific focus on Maori and Pasifika learners, learners below the optimal literacy/numeracy thresholds, neurodiverse learners, learners with disabilities, and learners at risk of withdrawal and non-completion.This role will be a 12-month fixed-term contract for parental leave cover.About You:You must be an experienced leader with an educational/training background. You will need to be a strong communicator and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude while inspiring others to follow suit. You need to be able to connect and build relationships within the Learner Success team, students, and stakeholders, so the ability to respect and appreciate differences and diversity is paramount. You are someone who is passionate about the academic success of learners, and you have a proven history of leading and empowering teams.A relevant tertiary qualification.Experience in leading teams.A strong drive to develop others and prepare them to achieve and be successful.High level of interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.A genuine interest in and passion for cultural diversity, learners with disabilities and/or neurodiverse conditions, and identifying strategies to ensure their success.Group training or teaching experience in a multi-cultural environment.Who Are We?At Yoobee Colleges, we believe learning should be defined by the exceptional.
