The way in which we support the mental health and wellbeing of New Zealanders is evolving and changing; for the better. The TTW programme has a huge emphasis that is placed on reducing barriers to accessing services and to embedding a skills-based behavioural approach within primary care - empowering people to lead their own physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.The programme is now moving into the next phase which is Business as Usual (BAU) - with a focus on embedding the model successfully and increasing reach and impact.As TTW Team Leader…You will provide leadership, day-to-day model/programme advice and operational line management support to a team of Health Improvement Practitioners (HIPs) and Health Coaches (HCs) who report into you, ensuring strong workforce development and continuous improvement within our clinical service.You will actively collaborate with a portfolio of clinics to promote, develop and support these clinics, HIPs and HCs to achieve the intended reach and impact of the TTW programme - developing new initiatives within the HIP/HC roles to strengthen Maori, Pacific and youth engagement, implement group consultations, pathways, eMental health tools and other new initiatives.You will be a member of the wider Fresh Minds TTW team leads, ensuring that patient services are delivered in accordance with evidence-based best practice and dealing with any escalated matters as they arise, with responsibility for implementing the clinical quality, safety, risk management, and achievement of key performance indicators across the service.What you will bring:Team leadership or clinical coordination role experience within the health sector, especially with Maori and Pacific communities.Minimum 3 to 5 years' postgraduate work experience, preferably with demonstrated competency in evidence-based psychological/behavioural interventions.Self-motivation and readiness for a leadership role, directly managing HIPs and HCs within a sub-team to provide high quality, evidence-based interventions, and support to practices and patients.Strong knowledge of integrated primary care behavioural health model and background in working with Maori and Pacific communities preferred.A talent for motivating and inspiring staff to improve client outcomes, continuously improve and to promote a positive team-based culture.Evidence-based clinical advice and direction to clinicians of all skill and experience levels preferred but not essential.A passion for improving equitable health outcomes for the population of Tamaki Makaurau and Aotearoa, New Zealand.A desire to understand and appreciate Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to Fresh Minds/ProCare and how it shapes our efforts.What we also offerGreat benefits on offer, including health insurance, gym, and retail discounts.Flexible hours as we work in a mixed model of remote and office-based working.The opportunity to make a tangible impact in healthcare across Aotearoa, New Zealand.A fun, supportive and collaborative team and company culture that is heavily values driven and outcome focused.How to ApplyIf you think this sounds like you, please submit your CV and application using the 'Apply Now' button.All applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ, no agency enquiries please.
