This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.The remuneration range for this role is $136,327 to $192,461 (including KiwiSaver), ideally looking to recruit between $136,327 to $160,384 depending on skills and experience.The opportunityYou will be encouraged and well supported with leadership growth and your career aspirations. With your strong team leadership skills, you will help staff strive for excellence and foster an organisational culture based on collaboration, innovation, learning and high performance.You will get to:Lead the preparation of 3-year rolling tactical plans.Lead cross-organisational collaboration with stakeholders and partners.Lead the team to prepare and issue written investment advice for our client Council annual and long-term plans.Use planning processes and tools (investment register and investment workflow) to enable the consistent collation and prioritisation of investment advice.Influence internal and external decision makers.About youTo be successful in this role you will bring:Proven experience of working in a collective and collaborative leadership environment.A tertiary qualification in strategic or business planning, infrastructure development, economics, engineering, asset management or associated similar discipline.Demonstrated experience in clearly conveying written and financial information and ideas to suit the audience.An understanding of the nuances in the political operating environment that Wellington Water operates in.The ability to make decisions and set direction with incomplete information.BenefitsAt Wellington Water, our purpose extends beyond delivering great water services for the region; we foster a thriving community, support a diverse workforce, and offer supportive development opportunities.
