Permanent, full time role (40 hours per week)Demonstrated clinical experience in the acute, tertiary care hospital setting required, minimum of 5 years with clinical experience in your area of specialtyNZ Registration as a Physiotherapist with current Annual Practicing Certificate is essentialMo te tunga | About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to lead our Cardiorespiratory and Surgical Physiotherapy Team on the Christchurch Hospital combined campus site.As an Allied Health Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing operational management and leadership for a team working with patients across Intensive Care, General Surgery, Medical Respiratory, Cardiology (inpatients and outpatients), Respiratory Outpatients, Cardiothoracics, Vascular, and the Surgical Progressive Care Unit. This will include facilitating clinical supervision, teaching, training, and professional development for your team.This is your chance to develop and use leadership skills in a health system undergoing rapid transformation. Your skills will be ensuring the ongoing ability of these services to provide optimal care in a fast-paced, tertiary care environment.Along with the Clinical Manager (Physiotherapy), you will be part of the leadership team supporting, guiding, and directing the Physiotherapy Service on the Christchurch Hospital Campus. As an Allied Health Team Coordinator, you will carry a clinical caseload across the inpatient wards.
