Te Tumu Waiora is acollaboration between multiple NGO service providers who deploy Health Coachesand Community Support Workers to assist GP practices across the Christchurchregion. One of the active partners in this collaborative effort is Pathways,which contributes health coaches and Community Support Workers to support GPpractices in primary healthcare.

In your capacity as the Team Coach, your responsibilities extend to guiding andsupporting the health coaches and Community Support Workers in their roles.Simultaneously, you will cultivate robust relationships with GP practices andfrontline managers from other partnering NGOs. Facilitating a strong sense ofinclusion within Pathways is essential, especially as your team collaborateswithout daily interaction.

As the team coach, you'll focus on motivating each team member to surpass theirpersonal best and actively contribute to the team's success. 

You'll also:

Be part of a leadership team, attend regular meetings and Team Coach professional development sessions Contribute to a National rostered after-hours service on a rotating basis. This is a permanent full-timerole, working Monday-Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, in Christchurch.

The ideal candidate will be a health professional with a currentregistration who has experience working in the mental health industry, ideallywith management and leadership knowledge. This could be a nurse, social worker,occupational therapist or AOD with understanding of primary health sector an advantage,and the ability to build strong relationships with a number of stakeholdersacross primary health and NGO sector.

You will have;

Experience in working with and an understanding of trauma-informed care. Tertiary Health qualification in social work, occupational therapy or nursing and registration with professional body. A current full New Zealand driver's licence. A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one. Ideally, you'll have knowledge of the Canterbury Health and Social Services sectors Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi ClosingDate | Ra Katinga:  1 June 2024.
