Assembly & Process Work (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Jamestrong Packaging Australia and New Zealand is a leading metal packaging supplier to many of the region's well-known food and nutritional brands.We are seeking applications for a dynamic depal co-ordinator for our Hastings site.About the role:The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the shift and operate the machinery that supplies empty cans to Kraft Heinz (Watties), in a timely manner.Your tasks will include:Working a minimum of 40 hours per week on rotating 12-hour shifts, including rostered weekends.Clear, concise communications to all levels of the business including our customers, using RT, email, and phone.Ensure quality and efficiencies are maintained at optimum and safe levels.Maintain appropriate inventory, quality, and production records accurately both in hard copy and on computer.Carry out product changeovers.Pay rate: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour plus overtime rates and shift allowances.To be considered for this position, you will be able to demonstrate excellence in:Staff leadership and communication skills.Adapting to changing customer demands with minimal notice.Excellent written and oral English language skills.Forklift driving to fill operator or driver roles as required.Ability to work overtime including weekends on a rostered basis.Exceptional attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.Maintaining high standards in safe work practices.This is a fast-paced role where you will be supported by 3 other co-ordinators and a Team Leader.You will have capable people in your team, and on-the-job training is provided.If you have the skills and experience for the role, apply now with an up-to-date CV and cover letter.This role is available immediately; CVs will be processed as they are received, so apply now.Please no agencies or direct phone calls.
