Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity We are looking for a Team Administrator to join our team.
The Northern Regional, National Public Health Service working to promote and protect the health and wellbeing of all people in the Tamaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau. Looking for a skilled and high performingindividual to provide administrative support for our team. The Administration Coordinator position provides support for the team and activities, alongside supporting the wider administrator whanau in NPHS.
Reporting to the Health Protection Operation Lead, this permanent position will contribute to the mahi to protect the communities from notifiable and infectious diseases. In this full-time role your amazing attention to detail, IT skills, excellent minute taking, and customer service skills are needed to provide effective and efficient administration support running of the Health Protection Directorate.
This is a varied role that will be providing administration to support efficient and effective operations of the team. This includes admissive support for meetings and projects, personal assistant tasks for the senior manager, managing end to end business process tasks and preparing reports and presentations.
The Administrator Coordinator works closely with the BCG and the SHED Team to provide support to ensure the administrative workload of the broader team is covered. There may also be times when this role is required to support the Team Administrators from other departments or during a response and emergency events.

Minimum 3 years of administration experienceA high level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Visco, Powerpoint and Excel)Previous experience working in a health setting considered a distinct advantageHighly organized and efficient service deliveryExperience in call centre management and sound customer serviceCompetence in use of MS Office suie of programmes, Viso, Powerpoint including ExcelExperience at minute taking and collation of reportsQuality improvement experienceUnderstand of kawa and tikanga and commitment to Te Tiriti and Te ao MaoriUnderstanding & experience working in partnership with Pacific communitiesYou will have well developed customer service skills and thrive working as part of team (both within BCG, SHED and with your Team Administrator colleagues), be flexible and adaptable and bring a professional and positive attitude to all that you do.
