Job Title: Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience Salary: £12.82 per hour Contract: Fixed term Start: January GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience for a highly regarded mainstream primary school in Christchurch. The school is looking for dedicated candidates who are committed to providing high-quality special education needs (SEN) support to cater to the diverse needs of their students.
In this role as a Teaching Assistant for special educational needs (SEN) students, you play a crucial part in creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Your work involves understanding the unique needs of each student and helping them overcome challenges to reach their full potential. You will be responsible for supporting students, often on a one-to-one basis, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), additional behavioural needs, and other SEN requirements. Prior experience working in a school setting is essential, along with experience in managing a range of behavioural challenges. You will collaborate closely with teachers and parents to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed in their educational journey.
