Contribute to teaching initiatives, develop and deliver professional development, and provide pedagogical and course delivery support to academic staff to meet the strategic goals of both Learning, Teaching and Library (LTL) and the University.
In this role you will work closely with others within Learning & Teaching Excellence to coordinate and explore enhanced learning and teaching opportunities for the University.
Some tasks of the role include: Education leadership - develop and lead initiatives and resources that contribute to the learning and teaching environment.
Professional development initiatives - develop and deliver in line with the strategic direction of the University.
Pedagogical & teaching support - coordinate and facilitate academic support dedicated to enhancing learning and teaching activities.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.
The salary range is set at circa $80,000 per annum.
To be successful in this role you will need: Postgraduate qualification in Teacher Education, Educational Technology, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications.
Five or more years' related experience in a tertiary environment is preferred.
Experience in the use of a learning management system and e-learning/educational development software.
Moodle preferred.
Experience of having undertaken a teacher-mentor role preferred.
Experience working in a tertiary education environment implementing appropriate pedagogies.
Experience with implementing a variety of best practice assessment methods.
Experience working in a variety of digital learning environments and multiple different tools.
