Elgin School is seeking a dynamic teacher for a Y5 and 6 class at our small school in Gisborne. You must be NZ registered, passionate about learning, be able to work collaboratively with a small team of dedicated educators and improve learning outcomes for our tamariki. Our school is located within the rohe of Ngai Tawhiri and Rongowhakaata, so some knowledge around the cultural narrative of the area, tikanga and te reo would be an advantage. We have high expectations of our tamariki to succeed. You must be culturally responsive with excellent communication skills, and be able to build and maintain positive relationships with whanau, tamariki and staff.
