We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time Scale A KingsWay School teacher (Y1-8) based primarily in middle years on our senior campus starting 28 January 2025.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian area school catering for Y1-13 students, with a current roll of 1823 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tumanako.
About the job Key responsibilities of the role include:
Effectively engaging with and teaching students in Y7-10
Contributing to academic process and achievement
Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff
The successful applicant will:
Be a passionate, energetic educator able to embrace middle school philosophy
Have strengths in NZ Curriculum knowledge
Be a registered teacher
Enjoy effectively partnering with parents
