Salisbury School is a unique residential specialist school located in the heart of Richmond, Tasman. We provide short-term education for girls aged 8–15 years with complex learning needs, focusing on building strengths and capabilities within a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Transition planning is central to our work, as we collaborate with home schools and whanau from across the country to create successful pathways for our akonga.
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and collaborative teacher to join our dedicated team full-time. This role involves working closely with small groups of students, tailoring learning to meet diverse needs, and contributing to our innovative, wraparound approach to education.
What we are looking for:
A qualified teacher (specialist qualifications ideal) with proven excellence in teaching.
Strong knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, including planning, assessment, and adaptive teaching.
Familiarity with structured literacy, numeracy, and current best practices in pedagogy.
