We are looking for a kaiako who will uphold and nurture the special Catholic character of our school while delivering high-quality teaching across the curriculum.
This is a tagged special character position , so your willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school will be a condition of appointment.
The year level of the class will be determined by the experience, suitability and preferences of the candidate and will be in either the middle (Y4-6) or senior (Y6-8) syndicates.
We seek a teacher who: Has demonstrated capabilities to actively support and uphold the special Catholic character of our school Has the ability to think, plan strategically and engage others in a meaningful way; supporting the Vision, Mission and Strategic Goals of the school Has an understanding of, and commitment to their role as a member of staff and is excited by developing aspects of their practice Demonstrates the ability to integrate inquiry learning and digital technology into the classroom programme Able to manage challenging behaviour positively and effectively Willingness and ability to support the wider school organisation and extracurricular activities Demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to culturally sustaining practices Is passionate about education and demonstrates pedagogical and curriculum knowledge.
