We are committed to providing top-quality education for our akonga and have a reputation for outstanding academic achievement. As a young kura in Aotearoa New Zealand, we uphold the mana of our akonga and their whanau as they develop as strong future ambassadors of Aotearoa New Zealand. We have no international students. All akonga are introduced to te reo Maori at Y7 and can select this as a course option through to Y13. Students are also offered the opportunity to participate and contribute as valued members of our Kapa Haka. As a kura, we are on our journey towards becoming a more biculturally responsive school fostering our responsibilities to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We have an active Ropu Whanau who are committed to uplifting the teaching and learning. Within our unique special character kura, you will contribute to our community of kaiako and akonga to ensure that our school values of Honore, Pono, Whakapono and Rato are modelled and imbedded.
