Whangaparaoa College is located 35 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast with a school roll of 1,803 learners from Y7 to Y13. The college has outstanding facilities, a committed and talented staff, and a focus on learner achievement.
We are looking for a teacher of science to join our dynamic and supportive science faculty. This is an exciting time to join our college as we respond to our recent curriculum review, embedding culturally responsive pedagogy and enhancing mana orite mo te Matauranga Maori. We also have a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and developing rich curriculum knowledge to increase learner engagement and achievement at all year levels.
