Teacher of music, full time, permanent. To commence Tuesday 28 January 2025.
We are looking for a New Zealand based, registered teacher of music to join our music department teaching students in Y9–13.
Our music department is currently being refurbished and is a well-resourced department consisting of two other full-time teachers plus a number of itinerant teachers as required.
The successful applicant will have a passion for raising student achievement and high expectations of students and self. They will be keen to teach in a high equity index school, and some experience in this or a similar environment is desirable but not a prerequisite for the position.
They will also have the willingness and ability to keep up to date with the latest information technology and the flexibility to adapt to changing teaching and learning methods.
They will be able to work collaboratively in a team as well as individually.
A Kaiarahi/dean position may be available for a suitably experienced candidate. Please state previous experience in this or similar roles, if applicable.
