About the role:
As a Mathematics Teacher you will be responsible for teaching within the guidelines of the New Zealand National Curriculum and the philosophy and policies of Saint Kentigern. You will have the opportunity to teach a range of classes from Year 9 through to Year 13 depending on experience and interests. You will have passion for and broad experience in teaching Mathematics to senior levels, especially NCEA Level 2 and 3. Experience with the International Baccalaureate program would be an advantage. Commencing Term 1, 2025 (as soon as available).
Key skills and experiences: Registered NZ teacher with valid practicing certificate Teaching Degree or diploma Pedagogical experience and expertise Up-to-date with developments in the new NZ Curriculum and NCEA realignment Ability to relate effectively to young people and colleagues Excellent oral and written communication skills What we offer:
