We are seeking a dynamic and passionate teacher to join our mathematics teaching team. Do you foster successful learning relationships and have a thorough understanding of responsive practice in the mathematics classroom?
Would you like to teach and lead in a supportive and exceptionally well-resourced kura with motivated students who are eager to learn? Are you interested in working in an evidence-based environment with a carefully planned and sequenced knowledge-rich curriculum that promotes explicit teaching practices?
We are looking for a full-time, permanent teacher to join our kura. You will be starting in term 1, 2025 (negotiable). You will be teaching a range of classes across Y7–13.

A teacher who has high expectations of teaching and learning
A teacher with sophisticated knowledge of subject curriculum
Able to effectively plan and design lessons
A teacher with proven ability to provide feedback to students
Conscientious towards student wellbeing
A teacher with a solid understanding of how to analyse data in relation to student progress and teaching effectiveness
Confident using technologies to enhance learning experiences
A teacher with proven ability to manage time and conflicting priorities effectively
