Teacher of English language learning (ELL) Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 05/12/2025 (Due to fluctuating ELL student numbers)
Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher
We are looking for an experienced and qualified English language learning (ELL) teacher to join our ELL Department who is able to teach at a range of levels.
It is essential that you are able to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of our diverse students, promoting English language growth and academic success, as well as providing a positive and supportive learning environment for students to achieve social success.
Applicants must be qualified and registered as a NZ teacher with a current practising certificate, residing in New Zealand. They must be fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum .
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,027 to $99,216, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
To commence term 1, 2025.
