Papakura High School Auckland
Teacher of English Papakura High School is looking for a full-time, permanent teacher of English to join our culturally vibrant department, commencing on Tuesday 28 January 2025.

Experience working in a high equity index kura or similar environment would be an advantage. Please state previous experience, if applicable.
The successful applicant will have:
* A genuine passion for teaching in a growing kura with a high proportion of Maori and Pasifika students (75%).
* High expectations of students and self
* A genuine commitment to raising student expectations and achievement
* A high level of digital competency
* The willingness and ability to teach collaboratively in a culturally vibrant environment and adapt to or facilitate changes in teaching and learning methods.
You will also have the opportunity to engage in project based learning that puts our students at the heart of all that we do.
A Kaiarahi/Dean position may be available for a suitably experienced candidate. Please state previous experience in this or similar roles, if applicable.
