In this role, you will have the ability to teach Economics at Year 11, 12, and 13 and Junior Financial Education.
Our Economics courses include NCEA and Cambridge Economics.
It is an advantage to also be able to teach Business Studies and/or Accounting.

Qualifications and Experience:Teaching degree (at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent) with a current NZ registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New ZealandStrong ability to use initiative to solve problems, find efficiencies and introduce new ideasIdeally have experience in a secondary school.Skills and Competence:Demonstrates ability to communicate to parents, teachers, Head of Departments, School Counsellors, and students in a diverse communityDemonstrates commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnershipAbility to develop a learning/pastoral environment that fosters creativity and excellenceCollaborates and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of peopleProven ability in mentoring and coaching students, prefects, and student leadersProvides high quality, evidence-based reporting ensuring opportunities, risks and preferred recommendations provide guidance for good decision making.Equal Opportunity Employer: King's College is an equal opportunity employer.
