Due to increased enrolments, we are delighted to announce that Hereworth School will be opening an additional Y0–1 new entrant class in 2025, creating the opportunity for an experienced junior teacher to join the Hereworth teaching team. This permanent teaching position will commence in Term 1, 2025.
Hereworth School is a progressive, independent coeducational day and boarding school in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay. This is a wonderful opportunity to apply your considerable teaching experience, wellbeing and pastoral care skills within Hawke's Bay's only independent school.
The successful candidate will work alongside well-established and experienced teachers at Hereworth. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience as a new entrant teacher and will also be willing to contribute fully to the co-curricular and faith-based special character of Hereworth. Experience in teaching structured literacy and numeracy would also be advantageous.
