This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team at King's College. You will teach te reo Maori Levels 1–8 of the New Zealand Curriculum/Te Marautanga o Aotearoa whilst supporting our school's kapahaka group through your knowledge and leadership. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our diverse student group and ensuring a progressive and supportive learning environment, one which fosters inclusivity for all.Criteria for application to include:High fluency and understanding of te reo me ona tikanga MaoriCurrent teacher registration; provisional registration or be studying for a tertiary qualification in teachingAbility to teach to NCEA Level 3 te reo MaoriAbility to build strong relationships with our students and their whanauPassionate and dedicated to leading the cultural experience within King's CollegeCollaborative and enjoys contributing and working as part of a team.Equal opportunity employer: King's College is an equal opportunity employer.
