Whangamata Kindergarten is looking for someone to enhance the mauri of our space. Our kindergarten prides itself on building authentic connections with mokopuna, whanau, community, and te taiao. We are a Green Gold Enviroschool, in which te ao Maori is embedded in our daily programme.
Our kindergarten operates six hours per day 8.45am to 2.45pm. Forty tamariki attend a morning session, and twenty tamariki are full day, with a ratio 1:10.
Whangamata Kindergarten has a supportive community, four full time kaiako, a part time kaiawhina, and a part-time administrator. We are looking for a collaborative, creative and passionate educator who believes in respectful practice to join our team. If this sounds like you we invite you to apply.
