Starting 2025
Goldfields School, a specialist kura based in Paeroa, is dedicated to supporting ORS-funded students with additional learning needs. Alongside our main campus, we operate satellite classes within mainstream schools in Thames, Te Aroha, and Paeroa, fostering inclusive education across our communities.
We are excited to welcome a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team in 2025. Our guiding values—Kotahitanga, Manaakitanga, Kaitiakitanga, and Whanaungatanga —are at the heart of everything we do. We seek a kaiako who not only exemplifies these principles but is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment for our akonga to thrive.

Incorporate culturally responsive practices to engage tamariki and value their wellbeing
Willing to practice and develop Te Reo and Tikanga Maori in teaching practice.

Experienced in special education (not essential)
We welcome applications from teachers committed to offering excellent learning opportunities for our tamariki. Year levels will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
Applicants must be NZ registered, and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
