BestStart Riccarton is close enough to the Riccarton Bush to hear the birds singing, we are in the heart of the community, only a few minutes away from the centre of town and close to our major bus routes. Our Kaiako love setting up the environments so your child can be seen exploring a range of activities and we want out centre to be a home away from home. We have multiple bilingual teachers, and all up we can speak seven languages so we can support children and families from a range of cultures.About the Role: If you are a motivated team player & have a passion for teaching young children and are currently enrolled to study in a level 7 ECE programme (ECE Bachelor), we want to hear from you. You will be working in our Harakeke / Toddler room, alongside our energetic 18 month to 2.5 year old tamariki. In this space we support children by setting up resources specific to each child's interests, curiosities, dispositions, and search for knowledge. Our tamariki are encouraged to develop skills at their own rate and to understand their own abilities through unhurried learning spaces. We have a large, natural outdoor area for our tamariki to challenge themselves. We would be delighted to hear from you if this describes you.
