(While based in the Under2s Nursery, from time to time, there will be an opportunity to provide support in the Preschool Room). Our successful applicant will be: a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills a keen learner, open to constructive feedback passionate and have a drive for planning and implementing the 16 Areas of Play throughout the day comfortable incorporating the fundamentals of Te Whariki proactive and a problem solver - able to use their initiate when appropriate Role requirements: Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality This is a permanent part-time position working 30-35 hours per week, between 7am – 6pm, Monday-Friday.
