We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to lead our business studies programme. This position offers an amazing opportunity for a passionate, highly motivated person to further develop the business studies area and the Young Enterprise programme by building on the work already done in building up the programme.
The successful applicant will have a genuine commitment to raising student achievement and high expectations of students and self. You will have the ability and willingness to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment and facilitate or adapt to the latest developments in teaching and learning methods.
Experience in a high equity index school or similar multi-cultural environment would be an advantage. A Kaiarahi/Dean position may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62K to $100K, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individual's actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
