This role involves leading a team of teaching assistants to create and deliver inclusive, innovative programmes of learning for our diverse range of students with special learning needs. Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with students, teachers, teaching assistants, whanau, and external agencies. This position comes with a minimum of 1 salary unit and 6 non contacts hours per week as per PPTA collective. Requirements: Commitment to inclusive education and innovative teaching practices Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to engage with the school community and external agencies Qualified New Zealand teacher with preferred relevant experience in special education.
