Teacher Aide - Learning Support (dedicated one-to-one learning support) Are you a reliable, flexible, and adaptable individual looking to make a positive impact in the educational sector? We are seeking a dedicated one-to-one Learning Support Teacher Aide to join our dynamic team.
Permanent, part-time 23.5 hours per week - term time only.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with a student under teacher supervision on a set variety of standardised and specific tasks e.g. intervention programmes.
Monitor and observe the student and act to build trusting relationships with the student and colleagues.
Provide supervised support and assistance to a student.
Assist in providing a safe, effective, empathetic and enjoyable learning situation for a student and to establish positive working relationships with them.
Maintain high personal and professional standards.
Key Requirements:
Experienced Teacher Aide preferred , particularly someone with a background in dedicated one-to-one learning support for a student who has a cochlear implant and requires cognitive assistance.
Recognises the role and responsibilities of a teacher aide in promoting the personal and educational welfare of the student.
Effective team worker who is honest, reliable and understands the need for confidentiality.
Be reliable, flexible and able to manage priorities.
Be able to work well independently.
Calm and responsive nature.
