Teacher Aide

Kowhai Specialist School is looking for teacher aides who have great initiative, strong work ethic, patience, show kindness, have a great sense of humour, and possess an uplifting personality.
You must have a proven ability to work effectively and professionally within a team and be prepared to positively support learning and well-being for akonga with a diverse and complex range of special needs. You will also need to be enthusiastic about growing your own capabilities to support our akonga and the direction of our kura.
Teacher aide positions are 28.75 hours a week starting in Term 1 2025, permanent and term time only. Conditions of employment are covered by the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement (available online).
