Te Whakamaene - Specialist Applications Case ManagerPermanent, Full TimeWellington Region Te Haeata / The OpportunityThis role provides technical expertise, key case management and research services to the Chief Judge, Deputy Chief Judge and the Maori Appellate Court. You will work within an well-established, experienced and vibrant team alongside technical experts. You will be flexible, calm, resilient and in no way daunted by the Court environment. We want to hear from suitably qualified people from around the country who can work in a remote fashion from one of our Maori Land Court regional offices. If your experience looks a little different from what we have outlined and believe you can bring value to the role, we'd love to hear from you!As a member of the team you will have the following skills : A high standard of written and oral communication Excellent computing skills i.e competent in using Microsoft Office applications Case management experience, preferably in the legal sector A tertiary qualification in law or equivalent experience A good general knowledge of, and respect for, tikanga Maori and a commitment to further develop your knowledge and Te Reo Maori A full NZ drivers' licencePrior experience operating within the Maori Land Court environment and a sound knowledge of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993 and related legislation is an advantage.
