Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national building housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors.
We are seeking three experienced hospitality workers with a range of availability to join our dynamic Café Team on a permanent basis. The Café Team at Te Papa is a fun and supportive atmosphere where you will be working in a busy, fast-paced environment delivering memorable and positive experiences for our visitors.
Flexibility and adaptability will be key to your success as we operate 364 days a year and will require you to be able to work across a variety of locations, days and times. Our permanent staff are in general, rostered 40 hours a week, 5 days in a row with two consecutive days off, though we always maintain some flexibility with rostering. The successful candidate will have full availability through our busy cruise ship season, as well as the Christmas and New Year period.

Have a laundered uniform providedWhen applying please include your availability to work across all days/nights on a weekly basis and any periods you will not be available. The appointment range is $57,824 - $64,273 pa, pro-rated to hours worked. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
