Te Turanga mahi (about the role): The Academic Programme Lead plays a key role in making sure our students thrive and succeed at Te Wananga Ihorangi.
This person oversees the quality and effectiveness of our academic programmes, focusing on areas like student achievement, teaching quality, and curriculum performance.
They also make sure students receive the support services they need and that resources are managed effectively.
The Academic Programme Lead helps create a positive and supportive learning environment while making sure our programmes meet important standards while reflecting the values of Te Wananga Ihorangi.

Key Responsibilities: Tracking Student Achievement and Outcomes Teaching and Learning Quality Curriculum and Programme Effectiveness Student Support Services Infrastructure and Resources Management Financial Performance Analysis Innovation and Improvement Collaboration and Partnership building Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in academic programme management, preferably in a higher education setting.
A degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis to inform decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Understanding of Maori perspectives, pedagogy and a strong commitment to supporting Maori student success.
