The role:
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, we are currently seeking a Service Manager to provide leadership to our service team in our Hautapu branch.
Possessing a high level of motivation and commercial expertise, you will take initiative and be proactive in your approach with customers. Building rapport and strong relationships with your customers and staff alike, you will pride yourself on being able to motivate others to meet set objectives and regularly exceed performance levels.

Responsibilities include: Lead, supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the service function, with approximately 8 direct reports.Managing, motivating and organising the Service Team to ensure the delivery of timely and high quality technical and mechanical support to customers.Daily interaction and connection with our valued customers and staff.Negotiation and problem-solving customer and technical issues.All job management (set up to invoice).Management of workshop labour productivity & recoveries and reporting.Manage inventory control on locally stocked spare parts and develop in conjunction with our Supply Chain Team and our Parts Department.Ensure all staff understand the warranty process and that it is followed accordingly.Monitor all Warranty claims to ensure that they are submitted in a timely fashion and no claims are rejected.Training, Apprenticeship, recruitment functions.Contribute and behave in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of all employees, contractors, and visitors.We are ideally looking for: Someone from a technician background with experience in Service Management.Proven ability to lead a team of engaged and high performing team members.Sound technical knowledge in construction equipment.Proven people management experience.Strong administrative skills.Well organised, methodical and efficient with high levels of accuracy.Understands the importance of great customer service.Detail orientated.Enjoys a laugh.If you're keen to be part of a crew like that then we can't wait to see your application by hitting APPLY NOW.
