Tax Compliance ManagerJanuary 7, 2025 by John O'DonnellThe RoleI'm currently representing an established multi-partner CA firm with a lengthy history in the Auckland market, seeking an experienced Tax Manager seeking a step up in a generalist tax function with focus on inbound & outbound work.As a Tax Manager, you'll be working closely alongside the Partners on a diverse range of advisory and consulting projects.Day to day will include reviews, managing client relationships, and handling the higher-level technical projects that will come through.Broad portfolio of clients which includes NZ owned entities, HNIs, and cross-border tax clients.You would also be involved in Corporate Tax across inbound and outbound engagements.Direct supervision, review, and provide coaching and mentorship to a team of specialist tax consultants.Ideal CandidatePrior tax compliance & advisory experience within a CA firm, preferably Big 4 or mid-tier firm would be ideal.Strong communication, client, and stakeholder management experience.Experience in using Xero, APS, CCH, and/or TaxLab.Past experience in coaching and managing a team of direct reports.You could be an experienced Tax professional currently looking to move from a commercial tax environment into practice.Experience in corporate compliance tax would be advantageous.CA/CPA qualified, and looking to remain long term in the professional service industry.The firm believes in an open door policy and offers a strong and collaborative work environment which emphasizes teamwork, support, and an engaging and social work environment.To discuss this role (and other opportunities within the Tax and advisory market), please get in touch for a confidential discussion:Harry Dev ****** 048 4824John ****** 700 2361Above market remunerationCorporate tax compliance experienceAuckland CBD locationCategory: Accounting & Finance, TaxationType: Permanent - Full Time
