My client is a leading global network of independent accounting and consulting firms, and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax or BAS Manager to join their esteemed team.As a Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the success of the growing organization.Responsibilities:Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of compliance matters.Review and analyze complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing their tax-related concerns.Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate their impact on clients' businesses.Lead and manage engagements, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services within established deadlines.Identify planning opportunities and strategies to optimize clients' positions and minimize liabilities.Conduct research and provide sound recommendations based on your findings to support clients' business decisions.Train, mentor, and supervise junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery.Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide integrated services and comprehensive solutions to clients.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance and advisory services, preferably within a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department.Your CA/CPA qualification (preferred but not required).Must be in New Zealand or have the right to work in New Zealand due to border restrictions.Benefits:A salary package that reflects your skills, experience, and contributions to the team.Committed to your professional growth and development by offering ongoing training, workshops, and opportunities for career advancement within the global network.Valuing work-life balance and understanding the importance of personal commitments by offering flexible work schedules.Fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that believes in teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among employees.You will have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with professionals from the global network of independent accounting and consulting firms.
