We are seekinga Tax Accountant to join our Finance Team based inGreenlane, Auckland.
About the role Reporting to theTax Manager, this role will help ensure Oji Fibre Solutions meets its taxcompliance obligations across NZ, Australia, and other international locations.The role is also key to delivering ad-hoc tax advice to Oji's business unitsand addressing tax risks across all tax types as they are identified– there is farmore to the role than just compliance.
You will join a capable, agile, and experienced Finance Team thatmanages collaboratively and cross functionally to deliver financial duediligence, continuous improvement reporting, and risk management compliance to supportkey stakeholders across Oji Fibre Solutions' business units.
Keyresponsibilities include: Preparation of the Australian and New Zealandincome tax returnsPreparation of documentation for internationaltax obligationsPreparation of annual transfer pricingdocumentationPreparation and filing of indirect tax calculationswhere required including GST , FBT , CWT, NRCT, WHT and AIL.Review monthly tax provision calculations preparedby Oji Fibre Solutions' business units.Prepare tax provision calculations for statutoryand business reporting.Preparing tax advice for Oji Fibre Solutions'business units across New Zealand and Australia, across all tax types.About you Well organised – planning and prioritisation key.3 years' experience in an NZ tax environment –tax accounting, tax advice, budgeting, financial planning, or financialanalysis.An analytical thinker – can see trends in data and can compile datato arrive at an accurate solution.Pro-active and looking for continuous improvements.CA or working towards full membership is essential.This role calls for a someone who has a high level of attention todetail and who can build relationships with our internal teams and externalcollaborators e.g. advisors and IRD/ATO.
