We service companion animal, large animal, lifestyle and equine clients with five clinics in Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, Tauranga, Te Puna and Katikati. Our clinics provide:
In-house point of care diagnostics (CBC), biochemistry and imaging
Digital x-ray and dental x-ray
All within purpose-built facilities
We also accept a variety of medical and surgical referrals from other practices, such as radioactive iodine treatment. We have access to CT, MRI services and referral imaging interpretation.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly professional mixed animal/large animal veterinarian to join our practice. This position is full-time, with a shared on-call roster amongst a large team of mixed animal veterinarians.
We can offer a dedicated mentor with over 30 years' experience in production, mixed and companion animal medicine. Supported by our practice mental health and wellbeing programmes, social club, and fantastic team members who love to have fun whilst practicing at a high standard.
The successful applicant will have:
General large animal medicine skills suitable for small farms and lifestyle animals.
Excellent general small animal surgery and medical skills.
Ideally two years clinical experience (all applicants considered).
Be enthusiastic and passionate about the veterinary profession.
