Sea of Ink tattoo & piercing studio is a modern and custom made studio located at Takapuna, Northshore. We opened our doors in 2017 on one of the hottest spot in Takapuna city centre. With the aim of being an spectacular studio ,we established a close team of professional artists who specializes in different tattooing skills and art styles. We value our team of Artists and piercer , while pushing each other and helping our peers with our creative practice . Our focus are the Sea of Inkstudio's clients. We believe in the high standards of health and hygiene within the studio. And will continue to strive to provide our clients a safe space for tattoos ,whilst aiming to satisfy their need in excellent art.
We now need one Tattoo Artist. This is full-time position. The working time is from 10am to 5 pm. You may be required to do weekend roster if necessary. You can expect an hourly rate between $29.66 to $31 per hour. The guaranteed hour is 30 hours per week. Maximum 50 hours.
As Tattoo Artists, you will be required to do the following tasks
Discuss with clients about tattoo size, color, and suitable placement.
Showing client tattoo designs to help them make decision
Shaving and cleaning relevant areas of client's body in preparation for tattoo applications
Using various techniques to create permanent or temporary tattoo patterns
Using proper equipment to perform body piercing
Advising client how to take care of tattoos and piercing
Establishing good cohort with clients
Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirement for this role include
At Least one year related work experience is needed or a relevant qualification
Have sound knowledge and skills about tattoo and piercing
Have an eye for detail and creativity and be able to come up with original designs
Have good communication and customer service skills. Client satisfaction is everything.
Have good time management skills to cope with multi-tasking if necessary
Comply with any pre-employment criminal record checks and drug testing
