Our rural bankers have a good grasp of rural business realities; many are farmers themselves or have experience in farming and they are very much a part of their local community because it is the place they like to call home.
As the Area Leader, you will lead a team of three experienced Rural Managers and their respective teams; coaching and mentoring a team of high-performing rural specialists to maximize opportunities with existing clients while driving new business opportunities to acquire new quality clients.
To be successful in this role, you will already have a solid background as a successful rural banker or similar, and be able to pull from the skills and experience you have built to enable you to lead, coach, mentor, and drive a successful team.
Success in this role will be ensured through your proven record of sales leadership and new business development as well as your ability to maximize opportunities.
Your time and focus will be on your team's development, performance, and success while growing both ASB's and your team's brand in the market.
Commercially savvy, with proven credit and risk skills, you will influence key internal and external stakeholders to ensure success.
