We deliver an international-level programme providing instruction and experiences needed for a professional vocal career.The Programme is focused on the needs of each individual within a small cohort of up to ten students.
You will work closely with the Dame Malvina Major Chair in Opera (also Programme Director) to ensure the smooth running and quality of the TANZOS programme and provide onsite support for all resident and guest TANZOS staff and students.
You will be involved in all aspects from programme scheduling, administration and management of sessional assistants, casuals or contract staff to events management and logistics, including being the liaison between TANZOS, the School of Arts and the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts.This is a part-time position of 30 hours per week (0.8FTE).
There is a degree of flexibility which will be discussed during the interview process.

- Who are you?You will have a tertiary qualification preferably in an arts subject, and have:Excellent organisation and administration skillsExceptional communication skillsExperience in Microsoft 365 programmes and confident in computer programmesFull clean NZ driver's licenceAt least 2 years' experience in a high-paced administrative roleIt would also be an advantage if you had a background in arts management, preferably within music or knowledge of Western European languages.Ko wai matou?
