Our facilities are fully accredited with the Leather Working Group and are regularly audited.About the rolePermanent, full time role minimum 40 hours per weekSalary $80,000 to $100,000 per annum depending on skills & technical experienceWe are seeking an experienced Tannery Machine Technician with significant background in Italian Tannery Machinery for example Persico Fleshers, Mosconi and Rizzi Splitters, CM and Bauce Sammyers, Alpe and Rizzi Shavers, Wringers, Press, Pajusco Drums and Conveyor belts to join our engineering team for the assembly, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of tannery equipment and machinery.If you have the following skills and experience in your toolbox then we would love to hear from you:Machine Technician minimum 5 years' experience working on Italian Tannery MachineryExcellent diagnostic ability and analytical thinking to navigate complex issues and deliver high-quality outcomesConfident computer literacy including maintenance management system such as MEXStrong safety focus and a continuous improvement mindsetYou will take a lead role in:Ensuring that all projects are delivered in agreed time scales to the correct quality standards.Identifying production problems, recommend modifications, and implement solutions to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimal performance within the equipment limits.Independently researching new technologies and recommending mechanical and electrical technical innovations in tannery machine/system architecture, control methodologies, and industrial automation.Ensuring reliable and cost-effective operation of systems that are often on line.Completing routine inspections, trouble shooting, and repairing various types of equipment including computerised machinery within the factory, ensuring that all work is done safely and efficiently.Every day will present new challenges, but a positive, can-do attitude coupled with your dedication to site safety, environmental consciousness, and quality procedures will make you the ideal addition to the team.If this sounds like you or if you are interested in finding out more, please send your CV with a cover letter to ****** application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a Machine Technician?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
