With multiple opportunities in the South Island our clients are seeking talented and motivated Systems Engineers. As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of various IT environments. You will also ensure their scalability, reliability, security, and performance in alignment with SLAs. The role: Provide overall IT leadership to clients using company best practices.Manage clients' network infrastructure across various environments.Assess, plan and develop recommended improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems.Research, analyse, evaluate and monitor network infrastructure to ensure client networks are configured to operate at optimal performance.Install, configure, maintain and administer Windows workstation environments and server networks, both physical and virtual. What you will need:  As the ideal candidate you will come from an IT background with experience working for a managed service provider: Experience as a Systems Engineer supporting clients in varied environments.Experience building and maintaining client relationships.An understanding of virtualisation and cloud computing.An understanding of networking technologies and firewalls.Passion for what you do and commitment to providing your clients with the best possible service.
