Mo te Turanga - About the role
This is an outstanding opportunity to serve the Crown in a busy, high performing Government department that has recently refreshed its strategic direction and the operating model of its Information Technology function. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the way we deliver IT services to the business.
We are looking to appoint an additional Systems Engineer, reporting to the Manager Technology Services. The role will be an integral part of the IT team and will assist in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Crown Law's IT systems. You will need to be an experienced Systems Engineer who can demonstrate success in delivering change and implementing fit-for-purpose IT solutions, support, and processes that enable the business. You will have proven yourself to proactively provide advice that ensures systems meet security and best standard practices.
You will have a strong background in working within Microsoft environments consisting of on-premise, private cloud and public cloud infrastructure. You will be a strong communicator and enjoy collaborating as part of a team to deliver results. You will also have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with the wider sector and central government agencies.

This role is Wellington based and located next to Wellington bus and train station.
