About the opportunity:
Are you passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge IT infrastructure and cloud environments? We're looking for a dynamic and skilled System Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our IT systems are secure, scalable, and efficient, leveraging the latest technologies in both on-premises and cloud environments.
This is a great opportunity for a Systems Engineer or Cloud Engineer looking to deepen their knowledge of Cloud services like Azure and bring efficiencies to the management of these cloud services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Cloud Administration: Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure solutions, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and Azure AD.
System/Network Engineering and Administration: Maintain hybrid infrastructure, optimize server performance, and manage backups and disaster recovery.
Identity and Access Management: Configure Azure AD, role-based access control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Automation: Develop scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Logic Apps to enhance efficiency.
Collaboration and Support: Work with internal teams and vendors, resolve complex technical issues, and document system configurations and procedures.
About you:
We are looking for an Auckland based Systems Engineer with a minimum of 2 years hands-on working experience with Azure Services, Microsoft 365, on-premises servers and networking like Firewall, switches and Wi-Fi.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in cloud administration, specifically in an Azure environment.
Strong systems engineering background with sound knowledge of hybrid IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and Active Directory.
Expertise in automation and scripting languages like PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Proficiency in identity and access management tools and best practices.
A collaborative mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
