About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems and Training Coordinator (R&D Services) to join our team on a permanent basis at the Fonterra Research and Development Centre in Palmerston North.
As our R&D Services Systems and Training Co-ordinator, you'll manage existing systems to ensure efficient operations across R&D services and support compliance learning development. We're seeking someone with a proven record in administrative initiatives, who understands process, attention to detail, and can communicate effectively at all levels.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing external training providers
Schedule external training for FRDC staff
Develop learning materials and integrate into delivery systems
Keep learning management system data updated
Administer the central learning register and ensure it aligns with My Fonterra
Ensure site management has visibility of learning activities and report on completion rates
Support Safe Work Systems and Health & Safety training, including induction sessions
Contribute to improvement initiatives, managing timelines and planning workload to minimise disruptions
Provide proactive administrative support to process improvements, digitisation programmes, and the broader R&DS Lead Team
Assist in the ongoing administration and upkeep of R&DS systems and processes
Challenge existing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements through innovative solutions
Gain a thorough understanding of Fonterra's Learning Management System and maintain strong relationships with Fonterra's Central Learning team
About you | Ko wai koe
You'll have proven success in driving, coordinating, and creating administrative initiatives in an operational business, having been visible and hands-on in a site-based environment. Whilst understanding the need for process and attention to detail.
You will bring robust administrative and record-keeping skills while effectively communicating with employees across all levels.
Other skills and attributes will include:
Demonstrated ability to deliver on-site training sessions and create supporting documentation
Skilled in using Learning Management Systems
Proficient in both online and instructor-led training programs
Advanced knowledge of Office 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
